This MOC has actually been put together since the day before Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was released in stores. However, I just added several more details and weapons last night. The Kongamato is, in cryptozoology, an alleged pteradon still living in the heart of Africa. The reason I called this ship that, is because it flies, and because the name sounds cooler than Nessie. The ship is seperated into two parts.
The top half is a small gunboat armed to the teeth with the following weapons.
Armaments:
-2 pairs of Medium Triple Pulse Cannons mounted next to the cockpit.
-4 Guided Missiles (Basically missiles driven by the gunner) mounted forward of the gunner station.
-4 Capital Ship Piercing Missiles, 2 mounted on each engine.
-2 Homing Missiles mounted next to the cockpit.
The top half also has the primary sublight engines which send the craft speeding through space at around 3/4 the speed of light when at maximum. The gunboat portion is crewed by three, two gunners, and one pilot/captain.
The bottom half serves as a research vessel and landing craft. The bottom half has two sturdy landing gears which can hold the weight of both halves. It also has two smaller engines which function best in atmosphere, but can also funtion in space under emergency circumstances. It has one long range radio reciver/transmitter, and one all-purpose planetary characteristic reciever (Don't bother me about realism ). The research portion is crewed by two, one pilot, and oen researcher.

Statistics:
Length: 33 Studs
Height: 20 Studs
Width: 32 Studs (At wingtips)
This is the first sig-ship I've done since my ugly ol' Crab Blaster, which I posted on FBTB over 2 years ago. I'm fairly proud of it, by I do intend to make some modification.
Comments would be certainly appreciated (Whether they be positivee or negative).
