OK--so this seems wierd, but this IS relevant: When I was at a scrapbooking store the other day, getting papers for my mom for Christmas, I found this GREAT paper that is ideal for making minifig capes--it's kind of a fine suede/felt paper--and comes in a lot of different colors. It's very similar to what comes "officially" with Minifigs with capes (like the Emperor's Royal Guard, etc.)... and is pretty affordable. Anyway, when I saw your Aragorn custom, it made me think of this--especially since there are more and more scrapbooking stores around.
