You may know that I build rubber band guns out of Lego bricks. About a minute ago I was testing my new M60E3 support gun. I had planned to have this 1:1 scale replica hold 15 trash can rubber bands on a gear, and fire them off electronically, but I wasn't sure I'd be able to get that many. I began to load the rubber bands - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 - so far so good, but when I hit 9... Creeeaaak-BANG! The barrel exploded backwards and up , slammed my left ring finger and continued flying until nailing me square in the right shoulder, which is probably bruised now . This also traumatized the bystander, my cat, probably for life. So, I was wondering if anyone else's Lego creations have "backfired" on them. If you have a story, please post it!

Well, when I played with the famous LEGO cannon (yea, the old one!) I actually shot myself to my eye =P
Anyway, sometime some parts of my creations tend to fall to my "private" area. That doesn't really hurt until you drop WHOLE SHIP to it.. Ouch..

Ow. Yeah, I've had a lot of problems with exploding guns, guns that have got my chin jammed in the action, [another ouch] and guns that just plain shoot back into my face. Of course, after spending so much time on a lego ship like you mentioned, first priority is always "Is my ship OK?" =) Edit: You shot yourself in the eye? Yet another ouch, hopefully that was the kind with the big rubbery tip thing.

I have no idea how this is an MOC, but ok, whatever you say... Anyway, stepping on pieces happens to me a lot, because I have my Lego bricks all over part of the floor of my room on a sheet, [so I can pick them up easily] and have to cross the sheet to get to my bookshelf and stuff.

Not really that I can think of. The stepping on pieces thing used to be an issue, occassionally. I don't mind stepping on pieces, as long as the pieces aren't damaged!
I generally keep all my pieces off the floor now, so that's no longer an issue.

We've all wrestled with hard-to-seperate pieces and occationally end up with a broken nail.

Hah, "I can't get this piece separator of this red brick! *breaks nail*" Just another variation on the Why Lego Fans Don't Need Nail Clippers saga.

I did once slide across my bedroom and fall flat on my massive lego house. I was so sad that it was gone. And my bum hurt from the impact on the hard surface. My friend also fell of my bed once (he was sitting there ) and he crushed all my bionicle sets. He eben broke a peg!

My brother once fell off my bed onto my 7 story 1/4 of my bedroom covering lego base. I was mad and sad so much at the same time; I still don't let him into my room much.

Sometimes when I am building mindstorms my finger will slip and get caught in between two gears. Another time I was storing my models on a loose shelf, and (of course ) the loose shelf slipped and down came the newly made moonbase structure on my head.

(Can I hear someone shouting "'Digger" ?)
Suspending a LEGO creation? That might not be the smartest idea since the LEGO bricks ARE indeed boxy and bit sharp. Not to mention the weight...
