I'll simply mention things that you cannot experience by just looking at the model.

The fireball catapult is extremely effective and shoots a long trajectory. The horse-mounted one performs great as well; note that the trajectory of the pellet is more level on this one. The horse-drawn catapult launches the boulder high, enough to knock down the Vlad Mask. However, the blunt-shooter is horrible, it doesn't even have that spring-loaded cannon piece. The blunt shooter fires by the flick of the gear wheel in a similar motion to igniting a lighter; only then a gear rack pushes the projectile forward. Yes! PUSHES! Therefore it is totally useless.

There are various other small features including a secret entrance into a scorpion chamber, a revolving door, and that's it.

The Vlad Mask is simply a KK2 big-fig mask clipped onto the tower. It is totally useless in mecha building or even bionicle for it only fits the helm of a big-fig.

So should you buy this set? Consider it at a discount. And I seriously doubt what a bley space builder like me will do with all those maroon, black, wall pieces, etc.

This set could have been an amazing set. But instead its just an OK set. Why I say this is because it comes with many large base plates. Sadly, there in colors which are far from basic (dark red and a golden color). Had these been light or dark gray they would have been very useful.

Beside that the figs are nice. The Shadow Knights armor is neat. It comes with a horse, if only it was brown... Its got amazing playability (I personally don't give a hoot about the playability).

If you are to buy this you better be Castle builder and like black bricks. Other wise this set would be useless.
