I think it was great. The tub itself is cool, I like the black and gold mix to it. Of course, I'm into sorting and collecting tubs for a future sorting project, so I'm into that.
The gold bricks are cool, though 8 somehow is disappointing. It's as much as can be expected, but still seems minimal. It looks to contain a fair good mix of parts. I haven't opened any of the baggies directly, and won't for a while. I have a stockpile of 4 tubs full of unopened baggies from various sets and tubs, so these just get added to it. I do have plans for them all, it just will be a large project for the future. If I recall correctly it contained a fair amount of some odder colours such as orange. I think that's cool.
That's all I can think of right now. I also must mention that I thought the contents of the tub surpassed the bucket. The tub is the one to go for, in my opinion. But this bucket rocks too.

The gold bricks and the "limited edition" tub is the only reason why I bought the small bucket. Like the contents of the large bucket, the small still contains eight gold bricks, which are a mattte gold. I expected no better and no worse. There are slight differences in the colors of the gold bricks depending on which batch they came from. I have "1-128", "2-128", "8-128", "3-128", three "4-128"s, and "5-128" as the numbers on by eight bricks. The first three listed are more of the matte gold than the latter five. Am I right Jail? If numbered 1-8 across, you can see that numbers 3, 4, and 6 are different than the rest of the bricks. Besides the gold bricks, everything else is mostly colorful classic square bricks. No bley , no gray either. One interesting thing that I noticed in my small bucket is the inclusion of a white flower with leaves among all the regular nondistinctive bricks. Symbolism? I might think so.

I think the current non-limited edition buckets also come with that plant. I've always wondered why they include it... maybe just to keep that single mold from falling into disuse or something
