I don't expect you to have this set or to buy it. This review details the game and X-pods in general.
Here's what TLG have to say:

In X-Pod Play Off, you'll pick your plans, build your units, and unleash them on your opponent's team in an exciting head-to-head game of strategy, construction and skill. Get ready to fly, jump, push, carry, deconstruct, repair and eat, because it's a wild world of X-Pods out there and when the game ends, the fun is just beginning!"
Pretty interesting eh? After playing the game with myself (shows how much of a social life I've got), I find it pretty interesting and absorbing. Sure enough, after finishing the game, I felt a paroxysm of ecstasy knowing that I have won ;D. The game does require lots of strategy, but the frequent building/deconstructing of your pieces can get on your nerves.
I have all the X-pods (pretty colors), and my favorites are the monster and robo pods. X-pods in general are pretty much useless without the game.
9/10 for the game
5/10 for the individual pods
