Again, thank my mother language, Finnish, I say Nannan's name like this: N - A - N - n - a -n
In Finnish, all the words are started "strongly".

The new people whom I meet will mispronounce my name about half of the time. The best way to say my name is "NAN-nan" or "Nannen"; in both cases the emphasis is placed on the first syllable.
Spellingwise, it's a whole new story. 90% of the people whom I meet will incorrectly spell my name.
For the curious, I have been called by all of the above names. "Banana" is a popular one, but why cannon? Here's the first lines of a poem a friend wrote:
There's a guy named Nannan, He was blown by a cannon.
Later on, he started calling me "cannon".
