Hey all,

For a long time I have unofficially not been the main guy here. Now its official. Nannan will lead LAML in this new year.

I am leaving to solve a problem that has been around for months. I would like to solve it in a different way but I feel I would then be looked at in a bad way.

I don't really even understand why it erupted into such a big argument. Arguments happen. Live with it. However, Nannan, whatsoever is so bad about being an admin without certain powers? Look at me, or Steven329, or another regular member. I don't even have the powers that you do. Make good of what you have and not drive other people away.

Well you guys are both great admins. I only care that if LAML will still be the best LEGO forum. I believe that the ''Be Staff For a Week'' lead up to this. Well at least no one is leaving.

I’m sorry but I think this is an incredibly stupid and childish argument.
You are only ruining LAML more by making it a big deal.
It is too bad that you decided to leave Jamit because I have a feeling that quite a few more members will follow in your footsteps.
Anyway, I suppose good luck to Nannan and bye to Jamit even though I really think you made the wrong decision…

LAML'ers -

I decided a fair while ago that once Jamit left, I would either resign council, or leave altogether.

I've always seen this site as Jamit's, right from the start on ezboard. There was a time, when this one was first created, where I was annoyed with it for some reason, but I eventually rejoined and felt it was good again...

...until now. It's probably not apparent to many of you, because you haven't read the admin threads. But a lot of it is incredibly lame (tat's right, Kim!) and discouraging. It just isn't worth it to me anymore to listen to all the narrow-mindedness, and lack of control people have. I could go on, but it's not going to do any good.

So, I suppose people don't know the full story, but I'm with Jamit. It's his forum. Was, at least, until this post. So I support Jamit, and don't believe he should have been put in a position that would make him even want to leave or resign.

So, with that, I am leaving the forum too. I may still visit occassionally, I'm still interested in how Q's site turns out. But I don't plan to be an active forum member anymore. Jamit, I'm with you.

This is what LAML needs,Very nice members leaving. {sarcasm} LAML admins will now be Nannan and TheQ. I cant watch LAML walls fall like NLN did. I will still be here and I will watch what will happing. I believe that LAML needs one more admin and one more Council Member. I was always afaid that LAML would fall on top of us. Jamit and Jail Please come back one day. So now theres two active members. (Dyip and me) and two admins (Nannan and TheQ) We need to turn LAML around.)

You're totally forgetting me as an active member.

Anyways, all kidding aside, I hate to see both Jamit AND Jail go. Jamit was a great admin, and was the one who started the forum in the first place and managed to get a lot of friendly, shiny (Don't ask, it's Browncoat slang) people.

Jail was one of the major reasons I joined this forum. It was really him who got me used to the online community a bit more, and I've always thought he was a great member at all the forums I've seen him at (FBTB, Yub-Yub *ick*, and LAML). He's been a great friend, and wil hopefully remain so.

I realize I may not have been much of an active member per se, but now I'm asking more of myself than before. With such a small population of active members, I think we need a least 5 more added to our community. I don't want to see our small community diminish into nothingness, but I also don't want to see this forum turn out huge and filled with "n00bs" and other illiterate folk. This forum has been great, and has great potential.

Don't let us die folks. Don't let us dissappear. Let us not be forgotten, let us flourish. Let us not lose faith in the forum, let us spread it to others.

It's just not really LAML anymore. I mean, right as I come back, two members who I've always associated with this site are leaving. Well, so it goes. I suppose we'll just hope for the best.

I am sadden to see LAML loose two of its most influential members. Although I do not comprehend the situation of the dispute as well as you admins, I reget the way in which the turnout has to be. Since there is nothing I can do about convincing you to stay, I would like to wish you two good luck on your future endeavors what ever it might be whether it involves LEGOs or pursuing a dream.

Hmm.. Since most of you know this already, I think I can tell about the situation for my POV.

During the time after summer, Jamit had flet "unneeded" here is Forums. He had a lot of work in the beginning but over the time, Nannan took most of the responsibilities and activities here in Forum and I took the same in the website. I talk the guy sometime and he seemed frustrated because he is the leader of the site but can have only so small way to actually do anything here.

Afer a time, Nannan made some suggestions. He thought they were pretty neat but Jamit (and me and John too) were bit against it. The breaking line, I think, was the mass email. At that time, everyone of us admins had a mass email-ability. We had discussion on what we put to the post but well, Nannan was faster. He already send a message, disregarding Jamit's "right" to do it as a head-admin. The message was also something that we didn't agree on. Simply put, me, Jamit and John thought it was much too "noob" than we would have wished for. After that event, Jamit took our "mass email-ability" away in silence.

Jump to December and you see that Jamit had been really silent in the forums. He thought that it wouldn't matter if he left. But it wasn't because this he left. I don't know the details, but I think it was something about new council member and Nannan giving some of you guys right to see the Staff discussion area. He said something about Jamit feeling as a "God" and not giving each of us the same rights and access. Bit later Jamit left...

John? Well, he started to dislike Nannan's actions. He was ready to leave before this, but Jamit leaving gave him enough answers to questions he had in his mind. So, he left too.

Latest events show that Nannan hasn't been here after Dec. 31. I take that he has left too.

So, what that leaves? Well, old me and nearly done website. *sigh*
