Welcome to the futuristic combat zone!
Suit up, enter, and play by the rules;
perchance you might claim the the handsome throne!
Quips, quirks, and quibbles from a quondam sibyl:
1. This contest allows for unlimited entries as an award to the prolific builders; however, your MOCs must be created within the past 6 months.
2. You may enter any MOC devoid of a hint of peace. Remember, blast 'em blokes with anything from tomorrow till the end of time. This thread is for rules and submissions only! You may structure your entry post in any form, but remember to include a link! You may also edit your entry post and/or add new entries anytime before judgement day.
3. Please enter decent entries. Quality is the most important factor used in judging.
4. This contest will end at a date announced later.
5. The admins are the judges; therefore they may not participate in the contest.
6. Each entrant will receive bricks for participation at the end of the contest based on the quality of their submission group.
7. Alas, winner takes all; Napoleon and Hitler never strove for less. Your prize will be a stash of LAML bricks equal to the sum of all the bricks received by the participants. For example, if there are 10 participants and they each receive 25 bricks for their entry group, then the winner will receive 250 bricks. If you are not into raking up bricks, you may purchase special LEGO set(s) (valued at ~$3) with bricks if you win. If there are not enough entires, then another method of determining the prize will be implemented.
Rules may be amended. Major changes will be announced.
Anxioms, maxims, and aphorisms:
1. High quality (using a blank background and adequate lighting) and clear photos (sharp focus) will give you an instant edge in any online LEGO contest.
2. Brief descriptions of your MOCs will add great depth to your entry; however, nobody wants to read a page of text accompanying an average MOC.
3. Having a theme with your sumbission group will lend unity to your entry. Although sometimes your MOCs appeared scattered, you can edit the photos to make them look unified. (Example)
4. A well formatted entry post (i.e. Name of entry, thumbnails, description, correct spelling etc.) will make your entry clean and professional.
For discussion of this contest, post in this thread.
See you at the battlefield!
