When it comes to be building, normally you need a good idea before you start building. Now, I usually visit some "inspirational" sites before actually starting to build, just the get some "out of the brick" ideas and new views for the model. I normally visited Classic-Space's Concept Art gallery but since some unfortunate event, that thing is gone (SteveR, the main admin at CS.com, is trying to pull it back). But that place is only place I visit to see some inspirations. Here are some quick links that come to my mind when it comes to inspiration-searching: forgeworld.com/ - ForgeWorld is Games Workshop owned company which makes pretty much everykind of "cool" miniatures. Just looking at their model give me so much new ideas.. lego.bmjroberts.us/gallery/ - I don't remember who owns this gallery but this is pretty nice collection of pictures. Those are two things that I have bookmarked (I have couple of more but I post them later on ) but now, here is the question. Where do you find your inspiration? -Q PS: Please, don't say "Google"

I take a couple of sites and put them all together.
For an example, I'm doing the NLN main site. I'm taking the LUGNET layout,Brickshelf,Wiki, and other sites. I put them in a bowl and start mixing them. And hopefully I should get a non-copied site.

What I meant is that do you have any kind of site where you frequently visit for inspiration?

Lets see.. Well, Classic Castle has good archive of LEGO creations. I am not so much "castle head" so I am not sure. Johnnie might know better.

I used to go here all the time for inspiration(We're talking a long time ago, at least 4 years): lego.jacob-sparre.dk/By/A good place for trains used to be here: www.ngltc.org/train_depot/but I don't think he really updates it. Still it's a good place for reference that has some handy tips.
