Hello again, my alias is Darkkazmo, some people call me Dark, some call me Kaz, and some call me Joseph (my real name). My favorite building themes, are Space/Star Wars, Fantasy and Technic, although so far I only posted stuff labeled under the Star Wars theme, and most of them were only alternatives. As for my building experience, I'd say, I can put few bricks together ;-)
I love conceptual art, and I love to create original designs for whatever I think of or imagine... I love all sort of mechanical looking stuff, and that's how I developed my building style.
About me: I play shred guitar, and write music... mostly symphonic metal and some acoustic stuff. I also do paint and illustrate, but I haven't done this in a while. I majored in Structural Engineering and Architecture, but I wished that I went to the Mechanical route. I'm planning to go back to grad school and major in Industrial Design once I settle down with my fiancé and find the right funding for my schooling.
... Oh, I always drive my girlfriend (fiancé) crazy, but in the end of the day she still loves me... :-b

FBTB? Yes it's the most place I visit simply because I know many people around there, but lately, I don't know man, it doesn't have the same vibe anymore. I hope one day it will progress to something better...
Good to see you again dyip.

Hey Kaz,
I'm taking the mechanical route next September. Should be awesome. How've you been? Haven't talked to you in a long time...well, when we did talk it was mostly about certain LEGO sites. Anyways, it's good to see you're still around and into LEGO.
Take care, -John.

What's up Johnny boy, yeah I'm still around, mostly at FBTB and at another private Yahoo group. I do brows more than I post these days, but still planning to get a small forum up and running for builders, but it might be also a private one to refrain spammers and none serious members from ruining the experience for the others...
Too bad that many of the LEGO fans around the community are getting geekier and more hostile toward each other, probably because they're getting more social and less active at building.
Anyhow, mechanical engineering is way cool and there is always demand on it, especially if you combine it with some other artistic or business mediums, so go for it... The physics and math is a bit too much for the brain at the beginning, but once you pass that stage, the real world should be a lot of fun.

LAML has changed quite a lot since we last talked about it in early 2005. Stick around and meet or rediscover our folks! +80 LAML bricks to you my friend.
