Hello, I'm Nannan's friend in real life. I'm mainly a CC dude along with some pirates.
I don't build MOCs, I'm just interested in collecting classic minifigs. I'll be on occasionaly to make a few posts.

Thanks for the wonderful welcome all of you. I will surely enjoy my stay here at LAML and to edit what I said above, I will try to experiment with building MOCs. Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Welcome!
What sort of figures do you collect, exactly? Era? Theme? Old figures rock...unfortunately they're so often in poor condition.

I got my first set during Christmas of 95 and that's when I started to develop the fascination to collect more and more castle sets! I mainly have the Royal Knights, Dragon Knights, and Fright Knights figure. I also collect the pirate minifigs, but mainly I just collect castle! Yea John I feel the same about how many of the castle guys are in horrible conditions, I just wish the company can rerelease some of the older sets like they did with the BF Fortress.

Personally, I quite dislike the Fright Knights. The Royal Knights were cool at the time...I have quite a few. I have the large castle I got from a friend of mine, but unfortunately the baseplate was somewhat cracked. I've never actually even built it... I have a small collection of Black Falcons; 24 with blue-rimmed shields and spears. I don't have much interest in just collecting huge amounts of figures without a purpose for them; I just want enough to populate and defend castle models. So I'd like some more. ~40 would probably do nicely, but they're so expensive. I also love older town figures, mostly because a variety of town figures is good for building town...unlike castle, it's really lame if each figure looks the same. I much prefer the older look. The new ones are so specialized, whereas the old ones have fairly generic and only lightly printed torsos, but still manage to be unique. And, of course, classic-smiley rocks... Finally, I collect older space themes in general. (~1989-1991). I so far have a complete M:Tron and Blacktron II lineup. Because of this, I also tend to collect extra figures to go with them...sometime I'd like to make themed MOC's for them. I'd love to see pics of what figs you have and stuff...that's always cool. -John "J1A3L5" Langrish.

He doesn't have a digital cam, he has several boss sets and a few Legend remakes. He's just a guy who's way outgrown his LEGO age when I rekindled his spirit a few weeks ago and then forced him to join LAML. I've shown him to some of the popular LEGO sites and he's already got an idea of what FOLs can be like.
