Reasons for joining: J1A3L5 showed it to me a few months ago, and Nannan has it in his signature on other sites, and finally I decided to join.
Themes I build: Space and Star Wars, though I'm slowly getting into Fantasy-Tech (an offshoot Castle genre)
Experience with LEGO: Since I was 5 or 6, but didn't get serious until I was 18
About me: Most of my Lego inspiration comes from concept art or my brain mixing together a bunch of established designs (like those in the Star Wars saga.) I'm a nerd. I like reading, writing, the internet. I have crappy knees.
: I don't know how I managed to find a girl who loves me despite my Lego addiction.

I might sound like a kiddo but anyway, it is honor that you visit our boards. I have watched your progress some time and you have given many new "angles" for LEGO brick. I hope you enjoy our small community as much as we others do ^^

Hmm, Alex, you do realize Ry = xLightsx? I might be wrong, but wouldn't you clearly remember him from old times in FBTB chat?! And Iare and Norm and CWAL and so many many more...
And Ry, what's the story on that Moonbase jumpsuit? It's Jon's? I only actually saw him wearing one - I must have been doing something else at the time.

Ryan, good to see you here--I'd met you briefly at NWBrickCon05, (I built the www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1429916 big blue ship), and didn't realize you were the Cylon Raider guy! AWESOME--that's all I can say--I love sci-fi, and the Cylon Raider is one of the few plastic models I ever built as a kid (until my mom accidently stepped on it)--your MOC gives me inspiration to build my own now... :-) Welcome! |

Wonderful welcome! I think I could find myself sticking around for a while, if life permits. TheQ: Thank you! Don't honor me too much, I'm just a 21 year old kid who only gets to build with Lego so much cuz I'm laid up at home with messed up knees. If I had to go to school and work like the rest of normal society, I wouldn't be building half the stuff I have. Jail: Ha, yeah, ever since building the floating island, I lurk around C-C.com's forums every day a little bit. I've posted about a few mocs over there too. Regarding the jumpsuit: It is Jons, but the guys had me put it on because of the Chief nickname/persona they've given me and I've adopted wholeheartedly. Nannan: At 195 pounds, I am a big fish 100 bricks? Cool! I did read through the splash page, and I may have to try my hand at this scavenger hunt dealio... Crusty: Ahoy matey! Good grief, you've been watching me since that horrible moc? Stalker! (Man it's been a long time since I made that...) Steven: Thank you! I plan to be active! Jon: Hello! Yes I do believe we met.
