Hey. My name is Kimberly. I just joined so now you can change that "Gender distribution: male-100%, female-0%" Um, 17Godzilla reffered me. So. I don't play with Lego (much or really ever lol) but I heard you people are active so I decided to join and well at one point in my life I think I did play with Lego. I think I had a girl set, with pink, purple and white blocks. lol

Hi there. The first girl here eh? Maybe I need to watch myself now... And yes, those pictures Jamit offered are from some of the more talented builders in the LEGO community. Most of us, at least currently, are far from that level of ability. (And pieces!) You really should try getting into LEGO a little bit. It's awesome. Jamit, I'm disappointed in your exclusion of any of E's work from your picture collection: Anyhow, welcome. May I ask how old you are? -John "J1A3L5" Langrish, who wishes thoroughly he had the talent and pieces of some of the above mentioned builders. Edit: Surely Adrian's Tribunal derseves a spot of honour too. Yeah, that's right. Honour is spelled with a u, too.

Enjoy! ---------------------- No, I was quoting Sz_2cool4u2b, not you 17Godzilla. I was just commenting on your spelling of my "name" lol.
---------------------- Wow, Jamit those are some impressive examples. I once saw a show that had a life size car made out of Lego on it I think. It was prettie awesome.
---------------------- J1A3L5 maybe I will get into Lego. First I need to buy some though lol. Oh and since you asked I am 14 years old. Did you make that blue Lego creation in that picture?

J1A3L5 maybe I will get into Lego. First I need to buy some though lol. Oh and since you asked I am 14 years old. Did you make that blue Lego creation in that picture? I wish. That's one of E's creations. Otherwise known as Eric Sophie. He's just one of the notable builders when it comes to LEGO, in the robotics/technic genre. I don't have nearly that much talent, or that many bricks. I generally build castle styled stuff, too. Nothing nearly on par with some of the mentioned builders. If you want to see some of my models, here's a couple: Of course, being a girl you might appreciate my Christmas model: Anyway, I shouldn't be topic-stealing here. The moral of the story is that you should get into LEGO. Besides, we need more females in the community. -John "We need more chicks into LEGO!" Langrish.

Well Jamit... you should make a lego tour thread somewhere and show everyone a bunch of amazing lego creations like the ones you just posted. Maybe in the welcome guests board, so new members could have a look.

I hate to post twice in a row, but you sneaked a post in while I was writing mine... Well Jamit... you should make a lego tour thread somewhere and show everyone a bunch of amazing lego creations like the ones you just posted. Maybe in the welcome guests board, so new members could have a look. I disagree, partly. I believe it would be cooler to feature some of LAML's members creations, rather than the best of the best. Personally, if I was a new member joining, I would find them over-intimidating, while the members creations wouldn't be quite so overwhelming. (No offense anyone, but we all have to admit, we aren't near some of the levels we're showing off right now) -John "J1A3L5" Langrish, who is contemplating a new signature format to add more personality, and make his unique again.

Yeah, we could have some of LAML members' creations, and then possibly one or two really good creations, and just let them know that these are the possibilities of the future.

I missed your post, dumb me! But while your tipping me, what's 10% of $0.00? I don't think so. Mostly because of what Jail said. But maybe a "Reasons to get into LEGO" thread? But as Jail said, get into LEGO! And there's a great set that's coming out, 10144, that could help you get into LEGO. [Jamit]======
