So. I don't play with Lego (much or really ever lol) but I heard you people are active so I decided to join and well at one point in my life I think I did play with Lego. I think I had a girl set, with pink, purple and white blocks. lol

And yes, those pictures Jamit offered are from some of the more talented builders in the LEGO community. Most of us, at least currently, are far from that level of ability. (And pieces!)

You really should try getting into LEGO a little bit. It's awesome.

Wow, Jamit those are some impressive examples. I once saw a show that had a life size car made out of Lego on it I think. It was prettie awesome.

I wish. That's one of E's creations. Otherwise known as Eric Sophie. He's just one of the notable builders when it comes to LEGO, in the robotics/technic genre.

I don't have nearly that much talent, or that many bricks. I generally build castle styled stuff, too. Nothing nearly on par with some of the mentioned builders. If you want to see some of my models, here's a couple:

The moral of the story is that you should get into LEGO. Besides, we need more females in the community.

I only gave "some examples", there are so many great LEGO MOCs I could not possibly post all of them. So I didn't try.

I disagree, partly. I believe it would be cooler to feature some of LAML's members creations, rather than the best of the best. Personally, if I was a new member joining, I would find them over-intimidating, while the members creations wouldn't be quite so overwhelming. (No offense anyone, but we all have to admit, we aren't near some of the levels we're showing off right now)

I don't think so. Mostly because of what Jail said. But maybe a "Reasons to get into LEGO" thread?

But as Jail said, get into LEGO! And there's a great set that's coming out, 10144, that could help you get into LEGO.
