Oh yeah, my name is LEGO MANIAC! Er... I mean Cason. I'm fifteen and half, I've been collecting LEGOs for over 13 years and will continue to till I die. I love LEGOs. My fav. themes are Star Wars, LEGO Designer, Bionicle, Technic, and all the others (except the girly LEGOs, duh.... well I don't have any girly LEGO sets {maybe a few bricks from a girl set}, but some of them look like they have some cool pieces). I have a lot of LEGOs. LEGOs are my favorite toys (do I have any other toys? hmmm..). I live in good ol' Georgia, in the U.S. of A. I love LEGOs. Also, I HOMESCHOOL YAY. I've never even been to public or private school. I like to play with LEGOs, ride bikes, read books and PLAY VIDEO GAMES! Did I mention I love LEGOs? Yours truly, Cason

Hey, Cason, do you have ADD? Nevermind, jk . Nice to have a new member. I like Belville sets, but don't take that the wrong way. I make all sorts of mocs.

Welcome to LEGO and more LEGO Cason!
Have a great time here.
Glad to see you're really into LEGO.
I used to homeschool, but not anymore. Man, I wish I was still homeschooling...

Hi!
Sounds like you're really into LEGO. Any pics of your models or collection?
Not to open the debate, but my question about homeschooling remains: If I homeschooled, would I still get access to several thousand dollars worth of drafting/CAM software, $20,000+ worth of CNC machines, and a full metalshop (5 lathes, several welders, plasma arc cutter, milling machine, surface grinder, 3 drillpresses, 3 bench grinders, buffer, bead blaster, foundry, 30 ton hydraulic press, hand tools, bandsaw, and more)?

Wow, thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Jamit, that's way cool you homeschool too! Lol, Nannon, I don't have ADD.... huh? Uhh, was I saying something? oh yeah, I don't have ADD. (lol, just joking) And thanks, it's nice to be a new member . Don't get me wrong, I have some Belville pieces too, and it looks like there are some animals that only come in Belville sets. Hey Eric, you're welcome for the reviews. Jamit, thanks for reminding me to enter the contest (I'll check it out but I think it already ended). I thought I clicked the "notify if someone replies to this thread" option, but I guess I didn't (that's why I'm replying a little late). By the way, I forgot to mention I'm a LEGO Brickmaster member (its awesome!). Here's my MOC page www.mocpages.com/home.php/1575. Also, here's my Brickshelf folders www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Kayson. Enjoy!

is paying $40 for the brickmaster membership really worth it? I'd rather spend it on an ARC fighter

Save it for the ARC, unless you want probably... $25 worth of tiny lego sets (that's 5 sets plus the brickmasters pack).
I think the ARC outweighs the little sets, which have so far been little bionicle dudes and the new racers.

Hey Nannon, I think the magazine is worth it, but that is just my opinion. Mom and Dad bought a subscription for me as a Christmas present, I probably would have bought it if they hadn't. It's pretty cool, it comes with a small LEGO set about every two months (so far I've received a Rahaga Pouks and the Street Maniac {a tiny turbo set}) and there was an exclusive contest for Brick Master members only. To enter the contest you build a Toa of your own creation, tell about its mask of power, tell what his/her elemental power is, and tell about his/her personality. The winner gets his/her Toa in the new novel "Bionicle Adventures #10 Time Trap", then receives 5 copies signed by the author Greg Farshtey. And last, but not least, the grand prize winner get a Battle of Metru Nui set and a Toa Iruini set! I think I counted eleven pages more in the Brickmaster mag (Jan/Feb 05 issue) than the regular LEGO mag. Padawan716 is probably right though, the way it's looking members will only get about $25-$30 worth of LEGOs. In the end it's up to you whether you want to buy it (btw, what is an ARC?). I hope this helped . -C@S()/\/

I'll pass on the brickmaster thing. bionicle and racers are not worth it. Contests are like the lotteries- no chance. An ARC fighter is a new ROTS (Revenge of the Sith) set. brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=117816
