Okay, so perhaps an admin can enlighten me as to why I still see one of these: I have marked both the general community, and poll subcategory as "read" multiple times by using the "Mark as read" function. I see no "unread" symbols for any posts in either. Yet, somehow, I still see the symbol on the index page. It only has happened today, and only for the community forum. All the rest work properly. Why? -John "J1A3L5" Langrish.

That happened for me too. I was just about to post to it but you beat me to it.

It's the evil JavaScript.. It messes up the sites. If you view the "page suorce" you can see LOTS of coding. And it aren't always working. Might be small "update" someone made to the ProBoards code.. Well, it doesn't annoy me so much.. Something that we have to live with.
(Jails and Jamit know how I feel about Proboards anyway..)

What works fine? It's still doing the same thing to me; showing Community as having new posts.

The community board does not show new posts for me though.

Read my post in the Forum Discussion section, Nannan. Now I am almost certain! (Plus, proof shows up in the search menu.)
-Jail.
Edit: And now my suspicions are confirmed. And the problem is solved.
