Well, this sucks. My digi camera just broke. Meaning, I can't enter my vignette, no MOTWs, or any MOCs. And I'm broke, so I won't be getting a new one any time soon. But, someday I will be needing a new one, so does anyone know where I could get a fairly cheap one, but that takes pretty good quality pictures?

Hi - That really sucks. I hope you get something else soon: Any of your friends have cameras you can borrow? How cheap is "fairly" cheap? From what I've heard, price is very closely linked to the quality - I'd suggest saving up as much as you can to get the best camera you can, and not settling for sub-par images. Of course, a good portion of picture taking is learning how to properly doing it, rather than pointing in the general direction and clicking. If done right, even a cheap camera can often take great pictures. My biggest suggestions are don't get a floppy disk camera if you can avoid it, and also to get one that takes fairly large-size pics. This allows you to take a larger image, which may not be quite top-quality, then touch it up while still in it's large form. After that, when you shrink it down to a reasonable size, any touch-up work is much harder to notice. Here's an example of the result. -John "J1A3L5" Langrish.

My friend has a 20-30 dollar digital camera that she says takes really good pictures. I'll ask her what the name of it is...

I suggest for the time being that you borrow a cam to take your contest entries. We really need more entries!

I belive you could get a Cannon for around $200. I suggest you do that. Cannons are the best cameras around.
