My Review:
9.5/10

What made this good:
Vader becomes human
I had always thought Darth Vader was this big bad guy that had turned to the Dark Side for power. I was so wrong! This movie makes you pity Darth Vader, the baddest baddie of all time.

When I saw the two scenes of him crying it made you realize what was going on in his head during ROTJ.

Memorable lines:
There are some great lines in this movie such as, "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause . . . " and *SPOILER* "
Obi-Wan: You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would, destroy the Sith, not join them. It was you who would bring balance to the Force, not leave it in Darkness.
Anakin: I hate you!
Obi-Wan: You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you."

Action!
This is a non stop action movie. There is 4 light saber battles!

The Emporer
Palpatine is amazing in this movie. He gives an amazing reson for Anakin to go to the Jedi temple. For Anakin it was a no brainer!

What Made This Bad
Cheasy Love Scene
There is only one bad scene in it. It's when Padme and Anakin are talking,
ANAKIN: You are so beautiful!
ANAKIN: No, it's because I'm so in love with you.
PADME: So love has blinded you?
ANAKIN: Well, that's not exactly what I meant . . .
PADME: But it's probably true!
They laugh.

So I loved it!

I would go one step further and say it was better then all the movies. Only one that comes close is ESB.

i wouldnt go that far. it was really good tho. i HATED the pseudo- love scenes so thats what brought it down for me. this one, for me, is second only to RotJ.

More emotional than any other SW, better acting than previous prequels and on-par or surpassing the OT, the perfect match between the OT and PT, a story that is so well paced it puts all the others to shame... um, where do I stop?

The "love-scenes" weren't that bad. It gives mood for the movie and tells alot of Anakin's tranformation to Vader. But one thing keeps hunting me down: *SPOILER* How in the Earth Padmé can be pregnant for Anakin if he had been in some other star system for 3 years? Jedi trick, perhaps?

exactly. and for the love scenes, i just dont like 7 minutes of awkward, high school-like love scenes. i just really like the battles. if it hadnt been for that one with anakin and padme when she said, "so love has blinded you?', i would have tolerated it. but i did like he one (im not sure if this can be called a love scene) on Mustafar when Anakin said they could rule the galaxy together just before the skirmish with Obi-Wan

Are we told he was in another system for 3 years? I was assuming they probably had breaks like the modern military do.... working somewhere for 6 months maybe then getting sent back home...

I've seen some of the Clone Wars and Anakin does get some brakes.

I agree. There was three good actors in the OT (Han & Vader, maybe Leia). Every one else is brutel (who wants to listen to a whiny Luke?). ROTS has at least 4 (Palpatine, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin).

That was funny. I must say, it was a bit too comical in the beginning, with the battle droids lossing it and all. But it was so awesome!!!!! Definitely the darkest of the SW movies.

Yeah, I love the battle droids' "Excuse me" and "You're welcome" and "Run!". "What that?" "That nothing" was pretty funny too.

I really liked this movie. Sure, it was cheesy, sure, it was full of SFX, but, hey, it was fun, it was important, and most importantly of all, I enjoyed every second of it.
