Hey all,
I believe I have asked this before but I want to make a thread about it now...
LEGO has made almost all the Star Wars LEGO sets they can from the movies. What else is there to do? Re-release the re-release of the X-Wing? As far as I can see the only sets LEGO has not done is USB sets and prequel minifig sets.
Now I could be wrong but I do not think LEGO has any plans to go back to Episode I and II, though I would love it if they did. So if I am right and LEGO does not want to go back to making I and II sets then the only minifig sets yet to be made are from Episode III, and how long will that last?
So, are there any plans to go into EU sets. Two new shows will be coming out this decade. A 3D Clone Wars in 2007 and a live action show will be coming out a little bit later. Can LEGO make sets from these sets? Does the license agreement they signed allow them to do this? Do you want them to?
For me, I would like them to make sets from the 3D show but not the live action show.

I think UCS will give some ships in future, like B-wing, A-wing or Boba's ship. I am not so sure about minifig sets. They will come but it might be suprising what kind of sets they make.
They might take ship there and here. For example, Sailbarge and Minifig ISD were from Original Trilogy but at the same time, ships like V-wing came out too. Also vignettes are something TLG might want to produce.

Vignettes would be nice, and they have made some. But I think LEGO could only make vignettes that they could sell at very low prices. I really do not see any sets that they could bring out and sell for around $20-$70. Now I'm most likely not looking hard enought...
