Hey all,
I have a dilemma. Christmas and my Birthday has passed. Now I have over $150 to spend. In a week or so that amount will grow when I get my newspaper money. So to say the least I have a lot of money to spend. But I don't know what to spend it all on.
I plan to spend about $25 of it on PaB LEGO. And the rest I want to spend on a set(s). So I just want to know what you guys would suggest. Should I get the Star Destroyer? Jabba's Sail Barge? The Hospital? Help!

Spend more at PaB, and do some Bricklink'ing. Get the pieces you want and need, not sets that might be "cool" and then be taken apart, and only a few of the parts reused commonly.

I'm gonna have to agree with John. You are one lucky guy to have a local PaB (Or have the chance to go to a PaB). I suggest that you spend a day or a few hours there finding pieces that you want. The one time I went to a PaB (And it was one of those really small PaBs) I only could spend about half-an-hour ther, and could only get as many parts as I could fit into one large cup. (I bought a ton of sand blue plates and old grey 1 by X by pieces)
Definately Pick a Brick. With that kind of money, you could probably buy well over a thousand parts (I got 500 pieces with 12.00 USD).

$50 on PAB is not enough. I spent just under $40.... not enough of anything.

Thanks all for the advise. I think I know how much I will spend at PaB. Sadly its only a small one.

I would definately consider picking yourself up a Jabba's sail barge. The ISD doesn't look TOO exciting, a nice piece selection though.

I wouls recommend Peeron before you buy any sets. It's nice to see exactly WHAT you will get when you buy a set.
