What do you do when you open a set?

I build it
Put sticker sheets in a book
Put extra pieces in a throwbot container
Store instructions in a box
Stack the set box in my closet

Unless I get a set that I bought solely for the pieces, here's what I do.

• Build it.
• Put all extra pieces into bin.
• Put instructions back into box.
• Put box into drawer.
• If it's an aircraft, fly it around the room louding while yelling "WOOOSSHHH!" J/K
• Place model in closet.

Rarely do I have a set intact for more than a month, slowly but surely I remove pieces from the set for my MOCs untill it's just a small junkpile.

Open it, build it, dismantle it, part it, store the instructions with my other ones (a pile and a binder)

Paddy's line is close to mine also. I tend to throw the stickers away or place them in the keep.

I usually will take the set, build it and then if put it onto display. I am currently working on building this huge war scene so anything that might look good in it I will put in. Everything else I just put it in the box that it came with and store it in my closet.

Do y'all keep the boxes, throw them away, flatten them, or feed them to your goldfish in flakes?

1. Struggle with little circular sticker thingies that hold the sides of the box down ;D.
2. Open side of box; dump out bags.
3. Open bags; dump parts on floor.
4. "Doodle" with the parts; use them for something else later.
5. Keep box lying around somewhere until I finally toss it in the trash.

When I open the set, I first would assemble the minifigs lol. That is the number 1 priority. Then, I would construct the set. Then lastly, I would place the set on my display shelf where I am currrently planning on assembling a huge war scene of castle folks!
