Hey all, It looks like the new sets are on S@H. The Exoforce is there, for better or for worse. I noticed new town sets there too. The V-Wing's also there... This set is pretty cool...I think it's one I'll have to get. There might be new stuff, but I haven't poked around enough yet. -Jail.

This firetruck also made top five on amazon's best seller list. As for me (a thrill seeker), I would spend $15 on an EF set. To me, the firetruck is overpriced in the first place; maybe I just don't like the theme.

Anyone who has been to my website lately knows how I feel about Exo-Force. It's sad that LEGO has attempted at least three or four times now to make something resembling a mech line, but none of them have even looked as cool as MegaBloks' old mecha series. (wow, did I just say that?) There's that helicopter set that I really wanted, because it came with a lot of cool pieces in the prototype picture that I saw. But now in the final version, the cool silvery rock raider helmets are GONE! Ah well. Not worth buying now. Too bad I'm not that interested in Star Wars anymore, but I'll probably get that Slave 1 if only for nostalgia's sake. The A-Wing and B-Wing will be mine for spare parts. ;D

(wow, did I just say that?) Agreed, though I'lll still pick up a few for pieces...maybe. But the Sonic Phantom loks fairly interesting. B-wing, Slave 1, just awesome. Great parts. I might pick up a A-wing or V-wing though, some neat parts for $10. But what I really need are large bley plates. *waits impatiently for the ISD* - Sz

Exoforce doesn't do it for me - I have a hard time figuring out what's in the set and what's just crazy stuff in the design of the package. The firetruck kicks ass. I am totally getting that.. $15 is alright... I would've paid that much for the regular firetruck without the trailer.

<--- that was my expression when I saw the exo-force trailer. What is the company trying to do?! I guess I would like the new hairstyle on the figs but exo-force is anime! I don't have anythign against anime for I personally was a devoted fan to the classsics like Ronin Warriors but seeing the LEGO company build something related to that genre was something that I never would have thought about. It just doesnt flow together, its like building ketchup on your salad as your dressing! I would rather have the company make versions of Gundam than Exo-force.

And you make me look so bad now that I have an EF set on its way to my house from S@H. +5 bricks for convincing me to feel sorry for myself.

My bud just got some exo-force sets, and they're not as bad as I thought. The Bionicle pieces still disgust me, but they're fairly okay sets, better than some we've got in the past.

The hairstyles are cool. I doubt I'll get any of these sets...perhaps a small one. 7708...possibly 7711. If I saw them on a good sale, I might get others...who knows. It looks like the majority of pieces aren't very useful...either new colours, or large pieces that I probably wouldn't find a use for anytime soon. The hair is the only pieces that strike me as stuff I'll really want...that's what Bricklink's for.
And Paddy, I agree...the packaging nowadays shows so much extra stuff it can get confusing. I much prefer the old early 1990's backgrounds...they were so simple, but made a pretty backdrop.

Every time I receive a new shopathome magazine, I think that there won't be really sad new stuff in it. Every time, I'm wrong.
I don't like anime, but this.... is just... even worse.
