So who else here is doing one of those LEGO Advent Calender things? It beats chocolate by a mile...
Getting the yellow oldschool jetpack piece was pretty awesome. I picked up an extra 5 black ones a while back...but getting a yellow was incredible. Maybe the piece is coming back.
The whole picture inside the cover is awesome, it reminds me of the old LEGO idea book photos, only modernized...in a good way.
Hopefully after Christmas these will go on sale, and they'll be readily available for parts.

I think I saw one of those sold in local supermarket. I didn't buy it tho, since there weren't any special "good" pieces and I am already saving money for next year and to buy next schoolmate's LEGO collection.

My last calender [sic] was 1999. I might buy this year's on sale for the figs.

I, sadly, can't say that I'm one who is doing it. How much do they cost?

Well I picked up 6 off S@H a little while back - Hopefully they'll be in the mail soon, maybe even today. The only problem is they'll be a pain to part out... 24 baggies, times 6 equals 144 little baggies to open.
S@H shows them sold out now, but if any of you get the chance to pick any up, they're great.
