I saw it earlier, and it isn't too bad. I'm not a fan of the slopes, but they work fairly well in this case.
Little bley from the picture, and a moderate amount of dark red. Not bad. I like the patterns on the white 1x4 tiles, but only if they're printed and not stickered.
This is probably the only upcoming Star Wars set I want to get...maybe two of it at that. Of course, I'll want to see the parts list and stuff first.
I am also always looking for "new" white of course.

Something about that service cart is vaguely appealing.
I think it's the fact it has the ladder, which I assume is to help the pilots into the cockpit. Something that LEGO has neglected previously.
If I could give bricks, I'd give you another 5. Cool.

Weapons still looks so.. small. Why can't TLG look how some AFOLs have made much better weaponry? Those SW cannons are really poor.

Well, I broke down and looked at it. I remember this was the set I was looking forward to the most (Othr than the B-Wing).
The design is okay, except for the guns and the massive slopes. What REALLY ticks me off is the color scheme. I was looking forward to a grey/dark red A-Wing since the B-WIng was grey. If this stays at the 10.00 price tag, I'll still probably get it. It kinda has a feel of the old X-Wing. Mostly because of the neat little cart and technician.
I rate this set a 2.91.......out of 5.
