Hi all, as some of you probably know, on October 7-9 th there's a LEGO event going on in Seattle called the NorthWest BrickCon, commonly known as NWBC. There's lots of stuff that goes on: from set drafts to MOC exhibitions; from LEGO building seminars to the Brick Bazaar. Anyway, this is my first year I'm going to go! Woot! Check it out!Anyways, I just thought I'd drop a post here about this. I don't believe there's anyone else anywhere near Seattle on the forum that I know about. But I will be sure to fill all our camera cards with pictures! Well, back to building so I have my model done in time, -John "J1A3L5" Langrish.

That's really cool. I've wanted to go to one of these ever since a joined Brickshelf. Make sure you tell us what it is like.
What will your MOC be doing at this thing? Will it just be on display or something more/less?

It will be on display. I also am bringing some other things: MHA bots, patrol bots, my Christmas scene (Wayne said people would like it even if off-season,), maybe my castle vignettes...
We'll see. I have another MOC underway just needing landscaping, but I very seriously doubt it will be done in time.

What are your patrol bots? I think that is one of the few things I haven't seen. Can I have a link to a pic?

Does it cost money to enter these things?

Yes.
If you want to just go visit as public, it's $5, unless you donate non-perishable food for charity, in which case it's $4.
If you want to take part in it, like I am, it costs $35 to register. Ontop of that, you can pay another $5 to get the promotional model, or buy a promotional polo or tshirt. If you've pre-registered (Registration closed yesterady, I believe) you will recieve a brick-badge, and an attendee package. Possibly more, too.
Priced in US dollars of course, since it is another US event.
