Well do you know how they got hacked? We know for sure FBTB got hacked, the proof was on Eurobricks, and eurobricks got hit by a worm..:S This has been one of the most hectic christmases for me.. Message from Hacker: Seems like a planted fake message...unless the hacker wants the forum to come back quickly so he can just hack it again

To hack a forum would be easy if you are smart enough or buy (or steal) a program to do it but most "smart people" don't usualy care about forums. To hack a proboards forum would be realy easy but you could get in trouble for it because with proboard forums the username id admin for the admins then you just need the password ( which with a good program it would be easy). But most of the time the hacher wouldn't want to risk it because proboards get money off ads because of popular forums if a forum get hacked less people go on it and they lose money they could easyly find the person with computer stuff and the hacker would get nothing so anyone who hacks is dumb to do it most of the time.

maybe they had someone paid off to do it and then said it so they were pretending to be smart enough to hack it

Eurobricks was not hacked; it was hit by an internet worm called the Santy/Sanity worm which attacked forums running an old version of php. Eurobricks was running Invision Power Board, and it used php, and the worm used google to find it. After the worm found eurobricks, it found it's way to Eurobricks' database, and from there, when you go on the page, it said:
This was unusual since the WebWorm usually attacks phpBB forums.

So FBTB was hacked, and Eurobricks got a worm. It'll really stink for FBTB if they can't get their posts back.
