AFOL: stands for "adult fan of LEGO", applies if you are 18+ of age and still loves LEGO. TFOL and KFOL are used to describe teens and kids respectively.
ABS: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, what LEGO bricks are made of.
BF: Refers both to
Brickfest (See Brickfest entry,) and the Castle theme called Black Falcons.
BL*:
Bricklink: the unofficial LEGO marketplace where one can buy everything LEGO (if it's in stock)! A must visit website.
Bley: the new colors that were produced by The LEGO Company, so called because of the new bluish gray colors.

Brickset*: a LEGO set database that contains info on all sets and includes set reviews.

BURP:
Big Ugly Rock Piece, favorite of large-scale diorama builders.
CAD: Stands for "Computer Aided Design", or sometimes "Computer Assisted Drafting".
CC*: Classic Castle, both referring to the older castle themes, and the
site. Can also stand for "constructive criticism".
COW: Curved Out Wedge. Refers to the array of new curving sloped pieces, as opposed to the angular slopes.
CS*: Classic Space, both referring to the old space themes, and the
site.
Custom: Modified LEGO elements, or home-made pieces meant to work with LEGO. Sometimes fan-made models are called customs, also.
Diorama: a scene, much bigger than that of a vignette.
EB(*):
Eastern Block or
EuroBricks*. Eastern Block is a theme of sci-fi mocs which utilizes red and dark/light black colors- primarily associated with Lenny Hoffman.
EF: Exo-force, a 2006 LEGO set theme.
FBTB*:
