This is the event I recently got into. It is TLG's official "LEGO Show" at Helsinki. It has been there twice before.
The show got two sections: building and showing. In building section, you can just build, build and build. I didn't visit that area because 1) I was in hurry and 2) it would have costed 7€.
The showing part of the show was much more interesting. It contained some "scenes" from themes Harry Potter, Town and "Ferrari"-line. There was also scene which was full of older Town sets.
There was also some models by TLG's own builders. Theme was "Ancient Egypt". There was also LARGE Ferrari model.
B-Shelf folder.

This was first thing you noticed when you enter the show area. This is over 2m height so it is pretty large.

Pyramid was really nice, perhaps best model there was IMHO.
There was also other models, but they aren't really interesting. See the 'Shelf folder for them.

For real, this thing is huge. It is the "technic" Ferrari model made via normal bricks. Why, oh why those people in TLG don't use slopes?More info about the model..

Take a good look on the Ferrari showcase. If you need much of red parts, buy that truck.

This "oldie" showcase was biggest showcase. See the folder for more pics. Most of the sets that were there were old sets, like these two trucks in this pic. I have both of the sets =P
Anyway, what you think about this kind of stuff?
