These are undoubtly the greatest things LEGO has done in a while. High price tags, but look at the piece counts. And even more so, the pieces you get. Unbeatable. Forget the sandcrawler!

Interestingly they're offering the instructions online...

To me, they were just another take on the designers concept. If the bricks were more bley instead of rainbow then I would've considered them.
