Megabloks LEGO. Megabloks this new Dino Attack theme! It even looks like Megabloks! What a sad move. Not to mention the new bionicle and the Knight's Kingdom figures... However, the new designer sets look great. Set 8421 look like an incredible set. It's even making me want to remake my 8459. Awesome. The chess set is a cool addition too, but as much as I like the Shadow Knights, it's not worth it to me. The new Street Sweeper set is kinda cool, as it reminds me a lot of my old 6649. Also, the Knights' Kingdom II figures look great as always, and they have some cool accessories. Unfortunately, that isn't enough to make me buy a whole set, unless it's very discounted. This new Dino Attack tops even Bionicle for sheer lameness. At least Bionicle is distinct, and has large and intricate storyline. These sets look like they belong on the Megabloks shelf...I'm sure I've seen a very similar Megabloks helicopter at some point. They also feature large, destructive looking weapons - Come on, this is LEGO! And last but far from least - The dinosaurs don't even look like LEGO pieces. Lame. -John "I will definitely be buying fewer LEGO sets in the future..." Langrish.

I think the New Bionicles own, even though Bionicle is cool, it actually includes REAL LEGOS
The KK's are really good.
And the Dino thing is going to just supply me with an apache and a hummer.
But ive known about them for awhile. (I have LEGO Magazine)

I agree with Jail 100% about Dino Attack. Why is LEGO trying to copy Megablocks? Knight's Kingdom 2 is looking OK. I wish I had the money to buy the big castle but I will be spending my money on the Sand Crawler. And Bionicle is Bionicle, why can't it just end? The building sets I think are to big for minifig scale. That one dump truck is huge! I like the small trucks....

Hi, I don't believe the dump truck is oversize. If anything, it's undersize. Hugely undersize. Only the colour is wrong...ever heard of the Terex Titan? (I've been there) The only complaint about that set is how the bucket is all one piece. The front end actually looks pretty good. And it's sorta out of proportion for realism, but it doesn't look like bad for the model. -John "Big vehicles rock!" Langrish.

Well I was more thing about it being over sized for a LEGO town. Would it even fit on a LEGO road?

The road is too small anyway. Try to move two LEGO car sets in corner.. Too thight. Also, does THAT car what Jail showed us fit the normal road-lane?

All I'm saying is I like sets more like this, not huge realistic sets. I guess it is a matter of taste. James Rothwell Wadsworth

Here's my imput on the new summer sets:
The dinos are lame.
KK2 is nothing special except for the new minifig designs. The chess set is an exeption; I will consider buying it on sale.
The LEGO System Bionicle sets took me by surprise. I never thought Bionicle would come to bricks, and what's with the cheap army men figures? The 2 new $19.99 baddies look voluptuous.
I have no interest in desiner sets.
Lastly, the sandcrawler is too expensive and irritating to look at. I have no use for brown bricks.
In conclusion, the new sets are a fancy to look at, but they're a waste of money.

Anyone know if Toa Norik is sold anywhere? and what about Visorak's Gate? Edited: Nevermind, it's a TRU exclusive. And are the Vikings not found in N. America?

Well, of course you can order it via some "alternative" way. But, nevertheless, these themes are exclusively sold in their places in that continentals LEGO shops.

You know what, I don't even like the Viking sets! The faces are so stupid. And those monsters! They are a step in the right direction. But its a step in a marathon...

Is Dinos better then, eh? Not really. Both of the new themes just aren't good enough..

At least the Viking's are a credible theme. Dinos are just garbage.
Vikings are a great idea, have actual history and intrigue to them, and have some cool new parts. I love the helmets, for a start. The axes are a cool idea too.

But the Viking monsters look as dumb as the Dino attack monsters. And what about those faces?
