I somehow got the idea from new Galactica where they needed to destroy important Cylon capital ship. The purpose of this ship is to sneak close as possible to the big ships, endure the heat long enough to drill holes in them. It's heavy armored stealth fighter the Piercer. www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Xsane/Piercer

If you don't make it smaller, I won't review it

Yes, it seems I forgot to reduce the size. I also don't like the graininess of the pictures. Maybe I'll do another set.
This is MOD(?), there is no non-lego ship for comparison.

As you may know, I am a huge fan of black LEGO MOCs. So its great to see you add a great black MOC to your already impressive list of MOCs.
Besides the black, the thing which intrigues me the most about this MOC is its structure. I am confused as to how you attached the two back wings (for lack of a better word).

I couldn't find the picture of key part from Peeron. It might be impossible to describe the part with my set of english words. The poles holding back wings are attached to the main hull with two triangle shaped (4x6?)plates with one corner cut. The cut corner is bend 90 degrees and has 1x2 anti-stud. Triangle sides are also bend and they have 1x4 studs. I believe the part is meant to build train coal hopper?

Xsane, make the pictures smaller. They are absolutely too huge at the current state.

I didn't quite understand everything you said. But I got the basic idea. Thanks for explaining that.

Ok, you got the pics resized so lets us get reviewing *insert crowd noise around here* 1. Wing section I saw this MOC first time couple of weeks ago when we chatted via Skype. I really like the way you used those rather "useless" looking large monorail stands. You used almost every kind of brick you bought from the CPab, eh? The wing section is very sweet looking and although some might say it looks dull in the inwards section of the COW (Curved Over Wedges, those large wedges you used as the outer shell of the wings), you must remember that it ain't so easy to greeble. You might want to SNOT something there, I don't know what tho. 2. The Central Part You should work on the center more, it is so radical comparison to the small and wedged wing section. Extend the SNOT you used on contacting those large monorail stands to whole ship and it would look MUCH better. 3. Greebles, weapons and the rest There ain't so much greebling here as I would like to see. You should either make the ship spotfree or use heavy greebling in the central part (diagonal stripes of OldGrey or Bley greebling, perhaps?). The cockpit needs another thought too. Perhaps it should be less visual than this version. I mean, this ship could be AI controlled I don't give points, I am CCist.

This is the part I was trying to describe. Back wing Monorail stands are attached to the 1x4 on both sides. What is greeble? I couldn't find it on the dictionary. I just realized the other day there might have be an unconcius real life exemplar for the ship after all

Greeble means greebling. Find more info at LUGNET article. PS: Is LUGNET article the only one out there? If it is, we might want to add much more.. "large scale" article in our wiki

I think it explains it decently... what else is there to say? "Make it look functional"

Back wing Monorail stands are attached to the 1x4 on both sides. Now it makes much more sence. And after reading the LUGNET article do you know what "greeble" means?

Paddy, I thought about showing more examples and some techniques might add a whole new twist to the greebling article.
