FlickrSomething I have been building last two weeks. Now that it is 50 percent done, I thought it was good time to show it off and naturally, hear some CC. Things that will be in the complete model: - Working TECHNIC landing gear [done] - Four small mobile engines [The TECHNIC part is half way done] - Light-up main engines and bridge.[If I can loan it from a friend, that is] Questions, comments, whips?

I got it month ago (about same time as I joined C-C.com). It is pretty good image gallery, I especially like that note-adding option. However, it is Yahoo's service and that causes some minor problems.

What part of the ship is that? I can't think about what it might be...

Basic hull? The engines go to back, bridge over it etc.

Just a space MOC that I will use as a model for 3d-model that I will then make. That will be used in one mod.

The cover is done, next episode: The fearsome nose. Whole covered-roof. First I tried out to make plated cover, but that idea back fired. After I noticed that the idea wasn't so good, I came up with new desing. This "brick in 90 degree angle" worked much better. I would still have that "odd" look of the cover (will be used as a "pipeline") and I would have good solid colors. Now, I need advices on the nose. Should I make it like a "truck nose" meaning blunt, grilled look or should I try to build 3D logo on it? (The grilled would be made of black grilles, the logo would be made of orange bricks.) Any help would be nice ^^

One point to build a "long neck" ship is to keep the crew as far as possible from the engine radiation (in case it's radioactive of course). This is used in "2001: Space Odyssey" ship and I think also in Centauri Vorchan I showed to you. Maybe they will give you ideas. 2001 ship: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Discovery1b.GIF
