And click here to see the rest of the gallery after moderation. I haven't build much since my last Voidfighter entry, so I take this chance to join Nannan and present my B-Wing alternative entry for the FBTB contest around these boards, this is basically a copy of my post over there: I named it Space Thunder (Cheesy I know), but the official name is: Space Battle Mobile Armor-01. The latest high tech design by the rebellion to out maneuver the most fearsome Imperial space fighter there is. As you can see, it has a lot Anime feel to it, yet I still managed to pull a bit of my building signature into it. Gladly, I'm pleased with the color scheme, since it's definitely one of my favorites of all time (especially when no stickered were applied), and coincidently, many of the Japanese anime designers prefer it on their Mecha/Vehicle designs. Construction wise, it was one of the most challenging (one set) alternative I've ever built so far, since I've tried my best to make it look as good as a traditional well thought model, everything you see on this model was carefully selected to flow well with the rest of the design, thus making it a mini construction nightmare. It has few articulated parts as well, the lower wings/legs open and close, the shoulders rotate, and arm/wings move up and down, the inside mini flaps move directions, the laser guns/arms rotate into position, the back tail opens to shoot mini energy bombs, the head tilts and of course the windshield opens. I even built a simple service pad from the left over pieces. I like it for what it is, and that’s the bottom line. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Thanks, a Mobile Space Armor can take shape as a traditional Mecha, yet it doesn't have the walking mechanism... Mobile Armors are basically superior to the traditional space fighters due to their extra mobility and the maneuvering fighting ability. So what's up with that tacky rating fad these days?

Its hard to get a feel for this MOC. With some pictures (such as the straight on shots) it looks like a great MOC. With other pictures (such as the side shots) it is really hard to see what the heck it is. I think to really make an accurate decision on what I think about it I would need to first see it in real life. In other words, I can't make up my mind and never will.
