The 7240 fire station is just plain lame, though one detail of it is very important to me: The fire logos. They look identical to the old 1990's ones... The Enzo though...that thing is freaking awesome! The set will be mine! -John "J1A3L5" L.

The fire station looks a bit like the old ones to me (take the pole off and the binoculars). You can call them lame if you want to... So I shall! To be simplistic about the set, my main problem is the piece count of 260. Granted, the 6478 only had 231 pieces, but it was just as lame as this one! Lame lame lame! My favourite, the 6389 Fire Control Center had a whopping 516 pieces! I dunno, this one just seems...well, it seems lame! What's up with the pole thingy outside? And the SUV-style vehicle? The building itself also seems pretty strange, especially the garage part. And, what's up with the guy using the ladder to get up to the top part of the building? Fire in the fire station?! -John "J1A3L5" L, who knows LEGO can do better.

I like the look of that set. Maybe LEGO has finaly made a set that looks good with the baseplate? I don't like the jail...
