Name: Particle Ionizer Set Number: 6923 Theme: M:Tron Year: 1990 Pieces: 187 Figures: 1
Yet another fairly cool M:Tron ship. As usual, it has cool features, including a articulated magnetic crane that can load and unload a container from the back, and small robot that fits in a cargo hold. The only really dislikable part of the design is the antenna array ontop is far too large, and doesn't really fit the ship. It also tilts at a strange angle. The robot isn't the greatest design and doesn't really fit in with the theme, but it works fairly well for this set. The hold area for it fits it surprising snugly.
Also, surprisingly it includes a weapon-type attachment at the nose of the ship, one of the few times I can think of where something on a ship is very obviously intended to be a weapon. I mean, all those antennas and stuff can be just that...but this is quite obviously some sort of gun. An interesting point.
Likely one of the lesser of the M:Tron series, but still a great set.

My M-tron set. Alas, sweet maiden ionizer of the particles, you have left me and remain in pieces, mingled with many other sets.... your "M tiles" a reminder of a forgotten, golden era!
