Last week was a good week for my LEGO collection! ~2000 blue bricks, 1000+ green plant stems, and ~1000 1x1 round and square clear 1x1 plates, plus some other parts. But the most important part is that I also recieved the final set needed for my Blacktron II collection; 1887! Along with it, I also recieved 8 Other sets. Most of it was in fairly good condition, and most had instructions. There's a few incorrect, poor condition (into the misfit pile for them!) and discoloured pieces in the bunch, but it was quite worthwhile, especially since they were pretty cheap. Set 6823 clocks in as being my oldest complete LEGO set, being from 1983. I was impressed with the minifig condition: The hands and arms were still tight, and the gold pattern was still fully intact! Unfortunately it came with a new style helmet, but I had some extra old style so it all worked perfectly. Set 715 is definitely an awesome set. It uses all basic bricks, plates and slopes, almost exclusively...if you're looking for something fun, I suggest looking up it's instructions on Peeron and building it from your collection. It really shows how awesome a model can be from just primary pieces and colours. It's definitely time to make up my old 735 to display it with! Anyway, I'm happy. I should be getting a couple more sets in the mail, both of which are ones I've wanted ever since I first saw them in the catalogues, when they were still in stores. Build on, -John.

Ooh, nice Paddy. Gotta love those long lightstand pieces...In old grey, no less! A much more substantial set than mine, too. Of course, you're older than me too... Today in the mail I got both 6957 - Solar Snooper and 1896 - Trauma Team. The seller threw in a free MISB 4695 - MINI Knight Bus with it. Great condition, from what I've seen so far..haven't opened the Trauma Team yet, but it looks good through the baggies. Instructions included. -John.

I got it in '91 or '92 at a bargain store. Unfortunately, that was the last time that store carried any decent sets.
I saw the Trauma Team for sale at a used toy store... $30. I almost bought it. That was a couple years ago.

30 bucks is about what it actually cost. I got it for about $13, and the Solar Snooper for $20. I'm happy!
When you got it at the bargain store, was it MISB?
-John.
