-Bionicle system Lego will be a disaster.

-Star wars has little room for freedom. EU has plenty though. Star Wars, for me, is more building the ships accurately - an exercise in transferring something with unlimited shapes to something that is built out of tiny, angular bricks.

-Bionicle has freedom, yes, but I guess when you call a toa thing "zeus" or a character from a movie, you're reaaaallly stretching it. Maybe if older people built with bionicle, purely for the bionicle line (enemies, good guys, etc) I'd be more impressed... The flood of bad bionicle mocs I have to wade through is increasingly disturbing.

I sugest you take a look at a site called BZPower.com, its the largest lego fan site and its all on bionicle. And more than half the mebers are adults

ah... well, in that case, it just needs better builders... ones that can build something that stands out to everyone, not just bionicle builders.

edit: and yes, I did know about it... but it seemed to be faaaar more pre-teens than adults.

Galidor (WORST of them ALL)
Bionicle (The Bohrok and the Rahkshi were cool, but the rest are teh suck)
Znap (Except the giant wheels are cool)

Best lines:
Star Wars
Designer
NINJAS! (They owned. I never got any of the sets:( )
Divers (Ditto)
Discovery (Awesome parts)

That about sums up my thoughts. Except I think BIONICLE is AIMED towards the little kids who want cutomizable action figures.

Jack Stone: Besides one hairpiece I liked, it had no good pieces

Yeah, Bionicle used to be so awesome. But now LEGO is making weird stories, and like Jamit said, ripping people off. I liked the original toa and stuff, but it all fell apart...
