Hey all,
I just want to know how many of you have mp3 players. I have a 64MB one with a 120MB card.

I have around three year old Creative MuVo TX with 256 MB memory block. It has served me well, althought the memory is rather limited.

I have a 6GB Rio Carbon. It's perfect! 50 hours of music, and still far from full.

Don't have one. I don't neccasarily need one either. I don't have enough music that I'd need an MP3 player (Although, there are couple of Podcasts I wouldn't mind having on the go).
I've only got 4 CDs anyway (Firefly soundtrack, Serenity soundtrack, Halo 2 Vol 1, and Lemon Demon's Hip to the Javabean)

I have 512Mb in my phone which is almost enough.
I especially waited a phone model to have decent MP3 player because I didn't want one more item to my pocket.
Nokia, Motorola, Samsung... if you read this: I also would like have my keys and my wallet integrated to my phone!

I have 10 gigs of music, so my iPod is half full. I also have videos, bumping the total to some 13.5 gigs. Would love to have Star Wars on the go and a Video iPod

Would love to have Star Wars on the go and a Video iPod My sister has a Video iPod, and she said that videos chew up the battery really fast. Thus I don't think you could watch the whole thing without having to recharge the batteries. But still, it would be cool. Along the same lines, Star Wars put the Clone Wars onto iTunes, that would also be neat.

Well, Star Wars would definitely push the battery life, but that's what car chargers are for My laptop can only barely finish ROTS before beginning to run on the last 10% of power the battery has (the reserve power). But it has a 17" wide screen, and when connected to my mom's Lexus' sound system... phew. The sound is phenomenal. Surround sound, and the cabin has some excellent acoustics. I connect my laptop using my iPod's cassette tape adapter

Well this thread made me clear some of the stuff off mine. I've deleted several bands I used to like but I don't anymore and stuff. My musical tastes have changed a bit. Now this is what's on it:
3708 of 5845 (MB) ~47 hours 635 tracks
Still space for quite a bit more. But then again, I'm downloading 1.2GB more music as we speak, and have parts of several discographies I've never fully listened to or integrated into my music folder.
My mp3 player plays music, and that's about it. No video, etc. It does do voice recordings, though the function is pretty useless and hard to use.
Rock on, -John.

If you have it on your laptop, why would you want it on a small screen?
Jail: Do you only have songs on your player?

Yes, I only have songs on it.
I can load any files onto it in the background as a storage device, though I use a 512mb Cruzer Titanium for that. I did have the Brickfest Keynote on it for a while, but it's almost exclusively music.

If you have it on your laptop, why would you want it on a small screen? Uh, because my laptop weighs 6 pounds, can get rather hot, and cost almost 3 grand. The iPod, meanwhile, is just a couple ounces, does not heat up, and is cheaper, as well as serving as storage and backup for files and stuff. Not to mention I can stick it in my pocket when I'm not looking at it. My PowerBook needs to be put in my backpack or somewhere safe.
