Greetings Guys and Girl of LAML! www.laml.orgI have finally made the LAML.org ready enough to publish it to the crowd. The LAML.org is meant to be a community site which offers a great place to put all kinds of interesting things. Since I want to lighten the weight of the LAML forums, LAML.org is pretty "heavy" site. This is current list of WORKING features: -News sending and deleting (for Staff only) -Article writing (for those who have the power) -Moc adding and deleting (Adding for all the users and Deleting for Staff) -Link adding and deleting (Same as Moc) More features will be added later. The site will work in "Invote only" way, which means that only way to get the account there is to have admin making the account. I will start making accounts today and accounts will be given every member who has 50 bricks. This will work so that once member has 50 bricks but would spend them, the member's account at LAML.org wouldn't been taken away. You will get email when you have been added to the LAML.org memberlist. -Q

Finally my bricks come useful after all.
Anyway I heard about this site since August. Im willing to see it but one thing...You have to get the old team back. Anyway I will pay for my account as I said before. Good job of finishing it and good luck.

Pay? Hmm.. I don't know what you mean by that. The site is free and meant to every member who has over 50 bricks.
And the old team.. I don't think I can do much with the Nannan-vs-Jamit battle but still, I am trying to get some people back..

A wiki is basically a setup that can be put on your own server from Wikipedia.

Yeah, like Dyip said, its runs the same system as the Wikipedia. The system is called MediaWiki. Basically you can write articles, change current articles and make new links at the wiki. Pretty awesome in my book.
I have already transfered James' articles there. You can find them under the articles catagory.

There was some issue with cpanel. I experienced same thing but its normal (since the laml.org is in webhotel, there might be issues now and then.)

Amazing! but I still have a question. How come I can edit things in the wiki? Is that normal? BTW why did you choose cpanel if you now about its proplem?

1) Wikipedia works in that way. Every article can be edited by anyone. I just like that feature. It means that the information is correct, since every user can read and fix it if necessery.
2) The site is at webhotel, which is a good way to get a internet site. This means that I don't need to run a webserver myself and I can center all my "financial" issues with just one place. This means that when I pay the rent of webhotel I also pay the .org address.
So I didn't choose cpanel, it was in the package. And don't understand, cpanel is big timesaver. But like all computer programs, it has issues time to time.

MediaWiki is great. We use it in a project with 10+ people all over Finland. Now we don't have to worry about tons of email, mailing lists, document versions, locations... Absolutely latest versions of all documents are always available for all members regardless where in the world they are. If your phone is smart enough you don't even need a netcafe to contribute your project. Hmmm... NokiaWiki
