You'd sacrifice school hours for a vacation? This is your senior year, what the #&$@ are you thinking?
I'd go too, but I lack the time and option to do such.
Don't forget the after-report Jail. Remember: "bros before hoes".

Well, I'm back.
I have a few hundred pics to sort through. If you check out the galleries already up, you should be able to pick out both me and my MOC.
I had an awesome time. I'll write a ton more later, right now I'm just reading all the new posts.
Nannan: My courses are ridiculous this semester: A spare, a English that I have 100% in, a physics 11 I'm peer tutoring, and a Chemistry 11 I have 97% in. Plus the BCTF is now on strike, so I only missed Thursday (And tomorrow will still be out).
Talk to you all later,
-Jail.

If you check out the galleries already up, you should be able to pick out both me and my MOC. I looked really fast at a website that had pictures. I knew your MOC right away because you had shown me it a few months back (when it was not done, of course). However, I did not pick you out. I don't think I have ever seen a image of you.

After seeing others' pics, I conclude with 99% confidence what John looks like and which moc was his (the name tag gives it away!). I will discuss my reaction in greater detail later when Jail talks about his trip.

Okay guys, now my MOC secret is pretty much out, along with what I look like. So I'm going to just tell about a lot of the pics in the gallery, and you guys can ask questions or whatever. -------------------------------- www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433919Keith Goldman's latest ship, the Nova Tauras. What a beast of a ship. Mainly the pic displays Tom's ogre attacking, with some sheep invading too. The Shepherd strikes back! Also present is one of Ry's defense endcaps. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433920 Mark Neumann's mecha diorama. It was pretty awesome. I especially liked it since it blends some landscaping that is usually only seen in the historical end of things with futuristic stuff. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433929A great Republic Cruiser. The name of the builder escapes me at this moment, but it was awesome. It might have been Todd Kubo. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433997www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433939Robin Sather's castle, both pre- and post-space invasion. This won several awards, including both public and attendee best of show's. It well deserved it. The first picture includes Paul Hetherington and myself in the back, and Robin in the front. Kristen Rafert is also visible. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433975The post-Dirty Brickster group shot. I ended up with an MISB Flash Speeder. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433973This one's for you Nannan! Castle Bley. Made by Justin Major. A pretty impressive castle, if simplistic. Comes complete with plush dragon! www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433948After it was used for a 10-man speed build (1:30:30 time), Dan Herrmann used the Death Star II set for Wacky Races, with Jar-Jar as the driver. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433957At the end of the con the Quarch was weighted by waterbottles. It only withstood a single bottle: This was the result of the second! www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1434003Incidently, that was the Quarch's second misadventure. The first was when the whole thing collapsed when the fourth leg was added. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433994Robin's castle again. Appropriately named Drachenschlaf. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1434002The VLC guy's layout. Half Wild West, half town, with a huge canyon in-between. It won best Wild West. Then again, it was the only Wild West. It was also great to be able to meet the VLC guys: I'd communicated with a lot of them through the forum. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1433999Okay, so I give. This is me, and this is my MOC. Thanks to a certain Lee Van Cleef for some of the figs and the big flag. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1434044Self-proclaimed official Clueless RC Masters! www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1434047Daniel Rubin, myself, and The Bruce (Lowell). www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1434049Me showing off my brand-new Historical: Best Humour and Historical: Wildcard awards. www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1434050This is all the LEGO I came home with that I didn't take with me. Some were prizes - If anyone asks, I'll go into more detail in another post. This one is too long and I need to go shower. If you've even bothered to read this far. -Jail.

Really? You all had never seen John until now. lol, don't I feel special. Anyways, wow I saw a lot of pics while you were working on it but unfortunately I didn't get to see the final product until now. But your MOC really turned out great in the end. Also I love how there was only two females in that group pic... it is so sad. lol

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then after seeing John's picture, I recant the 1000 adjectives that I have used to fantasize him. I mean, just look at this guy, he is just so ***kable, amikable that is (is that how you spell the word?). If not proven by the innocuous smile behind those slight whiskers, that boyish haircut must've conveyed the secret (now that it's out). But watch out, this guy's soul is poured to the brim of the brew with orgullo that flows out in a river of sarcastic putdowns. All this has somehow augmented his brain waves. How does he manage to escape school, go to a LEGO convention, prostitute his _____ for sets, and come home with staight A's across the board? But I digress; now back to ***kability. From now on, all the beyotches will keep John's photo pouting from their favorites; as for me, I like to keep it a click away. Ahh, the pleasure that you bring us Jail; might I ask, do you know that you have the most beautiful face? JK. Nevertheless, you are a pearl of LAML. -Nannan Well, put it this way. I live in very cold place, I don't go out much, I have had skin problems... Basically, when I look at the mirror, it explodes to small particles

First off, I've changed the title of this thread.
After my prelude, I'm now ready to bark out some questions:
How did you transport your moc to NWBC?
How did you get your sets? Prizes, buys, winnings?
What did you do at NWBC besides looking at mocs?
What's the significance of your minifig/ghost t-shirt?
Have you been to any other similar events?
+30 bricks for sharing the pics. It would be nice if you discussed more about your trip and posted your moc.
