Yes, today was last test. Psychology. Now I just relax for five days and then I start my summerjob. Annoying.. When do you stop school forever? And are you going to college? -Jamit  |

I AM at college. Well, it is kinda mix. You see, in Finland we have bit different system (also produces one of most efficient students) than you have in USA or Canada. At the age of aound 16 you go to either vocabulary school (ie. you get a profession there) or you go to normal "college/high school thingy". In that place you learn about basic stuff like math, finnish, swedish, english, physics.. etc etc. Normally you study 3 years in both of the schools.
My school is mix of those. I study for 4 years and get profession and some papers that should present my study learnings. Bit hard to explain.
Anyway, I am now going to third class so there is still two years for me in this school. After that Army calls this boy and after that.. well, more studing.

Do you get to choose which "vocabulary/high(college)" school you go to? Do you apply to the school you want to go to when you're 16, and then move to whatever city it's in? Or do you just go to a nearby school, like the way school districts work here (where you go to a certain school in your area)?

You can choose the study place everywhere, like in southern places if you want to. Usually when you are in lower grades (1-6) or in higher grades (7-9) you can choose your school too, but usually they place you in nearby school. Friday's the last day for me...
...after that comes exams.
Friday afternoon is basically locker cleanout and awards day and stuff. And my metalwork test, which is going to be Megabloks hard.

I am officially checked out of classes today. Graduation practice and parties go until wednesday, the day of grad.
Underclassmen continue with class until Thursday.
