So, according to your post, you think we're all little kids?
Speak of these "issues" you say we have.

I admit I have issues:
-I am 16, and strangely enough never outgrew my love of LEGO, and am passionate about it for it to fill a gap in my life where most other people my age lack a real worthwhile hobby.
-I, unlike the large proportion of teenagers choose to speak intelligibly online, using proper (If modern,) English whenever possible. Of course, I also admit I surely make countless mistakes within my posts. I still try.
-Unlike the average person my age, I try to only post when useful, and will contribute to the community.
And, undoubtly, I have many many more issues.
I apologize profusely for my deficiencies. As for growing up, could you please explain how I need to grow up. It would be greatly appreciated.
-John "J1A3L5" Langrish.

Actually, since the board is set up in such a way that it is owned by Jamit. Ultimately, Proboards has the final say in things, but for all reasonable purposes it's owned by Jamit. I assume Proboards has some guidelines for legalities, but is is up to Jamit to make the general forum rules. Jamit, TheQ, and Nannan are all administrators, so what one of them says is likely what the other two would have said too.
If Jamit wants to make a rule, it is entirely within his capacity as the Administrator to do so, so long as it doesn't infringe on the Proboards rules. For example, I believe it is entirely valid for Jamit to make a crazy rule such as "Any member who says 'Megabloks' shall be banned." It's completely allowed for him: It just is so unreasonable, it wouldn't be done.
Thus, I fail to understand your claim of it being a free country and not spam. It is Jamit's decision on if it is spam or not, and what rules you must follow.
Currently, I see no possible problems or unreasonable rules. I feel that asking members to post intelligently and make proper posts isn't asking much at all.
I'm afraid once again I don't understand how this can seem so clear to me, a "kid", while you an apparent "non-kid" seems to have missed this point. Once again I beg you, please clarify how I need to grow up.

I would point you to this following post of Jamit: (If you want to whole thread, click here) Your "I like it" post is very much considered as spamming. It has two points that makes it "spam": a) it doesn't add much to the topic and b) the whole thread is old. The point A can be questionable but the point B gives a bit of info if you should (you are allowed of course to post) post here. As much I like your and others opinions, this whole "new rank" isn't updated and tho, it should be not reminded off. I try to explain this to you (bare with me, I am *only* 18). One post to the old thread is good, two post to old thread is questionable but almost (I don't know the real numbers) 20 post in a hour to several outdated post is bit.. too much. It isn't only our community, same thing is in everyone else community. Yet, I don't want to kick you out of here or anything like that. I want to "define" to you what you did "wrong" so that the same "mistake" can be "fixed". -TheQ, Finnish AFOL, the Webmaster of LAML and all-around good guy (sarcasm included)
