The B-wing contingent is a variant of the B-wing fighter created to compensate for the original B-wing’s notoriously difficult controls. For this purpose, the B-wing contingent no longer features the rotational gyrostabilization system and includes stabilizer fins to achieve facilitated controlling of the craft. Also new to this variant B-wing is the introduction of the thruster fin, whose addition ensures maneuverability on the vertical plane. A primary element of the B-wing is retained: its undeniably superior array of assault weapons. In fact, the B-wing contingent features the same weapons strategically placed at the same locations on the C2 as the original B-wing (see diagram below).
A classic SW B-wing variant, by any other name it would not be so true.
