I am writing this with the walker in front of my PC.
You might think the set is fragile do to all the SNOT designs but it's actually pretty sturdy (the body, head, and legs are all connected with technic axles). There's not much posability with the legs, but the head can rotate for about 90 degrees and the blasters rotate for about 180 degrees.
Some misc info about lego in general:
LEGO have gone all out environmentalism and started to make thinner boxes (no more cardboard) for some of the smaller sets like this one. The result is an improved texture of the box (my personal opinion) and boxes that are easily prone to shelf wear. The boxes are so thin that when I press on the tab to open the box, half of the box collapses! (bad if you want to save the box).
Also, LEGO makes much better quality decals for the figs. Before, the decals are sometimes smeared because the machine that prints them lacks precision. One thing LEGO can still improve is more accurately print decals on headwears. (the clones as well as stormies all have little off-center designs on their helms)
Overall, the clone scout walker is a grrr...rrreat set! 10/10

Ya, my box split in half when I opened it . The set it self is great little set and its the cheapest way to build an army of Clones

I bought the CSW today and these is my thoughts:
General: The set looks great, just shouting "Buy me! Buy me!". The actual model is much bigger than it looks like in the box, which is always nice. It has "SW-ish" look in it and and the detail level is rather high for this small set.
Parts: The number of greebling parts did suprise me. For mech'er like me, four 4-stud click-hinges are very needed and there is also very high number of "greebling parts" that are vital to bigger MOCs.
But what did got my attention was lack of "strong color". Set has six different colors in it, which makes the model look like home-made version. Also there is rather many unique pieces. This is bit of problem because for example the "front windshield" has very unique shape so that part is hard to put in to normal MOC, because it steal so much of interest.
My opinion: Lack of "strong color" annoys me mostly but overall this set is rather good "part-vs-price" rate. Model is what it promises to be. Good solution for low-priced set of Ep3.
Points: 8/10

Its also the best way to build up armies of clones...as long as you dont mind them all haveing the red marking instead of the pure white ones

Actually, I wouldn't say that this is the best way. Set only includes 1 minifig, which is rather small. In the near future, you can order loads of them via LS@H.

I want to get this set bad. I'm glad the boxes are thinner... I hate the thick boxes that are crazy impossible to open. The firetruck is a good example. I'm a boxkeeper, but dang, I almost had to throw away the firetruck box because it was so dang big, so thick, and didn't want to flatten out.

this is the best set that i bought out of the 3 i got. if you buy like 3 or 4, you can remake one into an awesome speeder. im thinking of puttin the directions on bshelf, but i gotta draw em up. it would be 100% better if it came with another plain white trooper.

Since there are like 2 white troopers in ROTS, I think it's great. I love Dark red, anyways.
My God, this little set is awesome. I don't know why. New Greys, Greebs, and technique, maybe. It looks nice, complex, but is very simple. I will pick up at least one more, and definitely a ton when they go on sale!

Are you sure? I think, with shipping and everything, it'll be cheaper to get it at the store for regular price (unless I decide to buy 10 at the same time... then I'll go online.)
Maybe on the bigger sets though (like the ARC... sweet, sweet ARC)

Hey, I just saw at BL (Store: Ancient Realm) a CSW for $12! I gotta get this. Scratch that, 1 for $11.50! Hopefully shipping won't be too much.

This is great, I really want it. And at those "Good way to build up armies" We can only hope LEGO makes more of those minifig collector things with the stand, the minifig, and the card. With like a Red, Green, and Blank Clone, that would cost like 2.00 like the rest so you would spend less money for more troops
